On April 30th the Dutch celebrate their queen’s birthday. This is a feast mostly for children: on the so-called free market they play games, sell old toys and display their skills for money. With the profits they run off to buy someone else’s old stuff. This recycling of things makes their parents very happy.

Yesterday was all about my Daughter´s birthday. And it was a good one, with lots of sun, presents and chocolate cake. Children running around barefoot and playing outside until late in the evening.
